ABOUT DIVINE HOPE ORPHAN ADVOCATES
Turning Interest into Action
Here at Divine Hope Orphan Advocates, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment and progress.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Divine Hope Orphan Advocates emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.

The Meaning Behind Our Logo
At Divine Hope Orphan Advocates our primary goal is to glorify Christ. The O is a smiling orphan keeping their eyes fixed on Jesus Christ. The A for Advocates comes alongside the child, seeking the best and pointing them to Christ.
OUR PAST
Wallace and Bertha Mwale began feeding orphaned children in their home every Saturday. The number of children quickly grew from 20 to 50 and more, and they outgrew their home. With the help of generous donations, Wallace and Bertha were able to purchase over 25 acres of land. Using this land, the number of orphaned children coming for a weekly meal quickly increased to 100, then 150. With these donations, they were able to start the structure of the future orphanage.
OUR PRESENT
Divine Hope Orphan Advocates resides on 25 acres of land near Chongwe, Zambia. Currently Wallace and Bertha feed around 150 widows and orphaned children every Saturday on their land. With the help of generous donations, 2 homes are now almost completed and ready to accept children in need of a safe home. This home will provide temporary love and care until the family is supported or a forever family is found. There is still a lot of work to be done, and Divine Hope Orphan Advocates still needs your help! We need to give orphans an opportunity to rise above their current situation, to place them in loving, secure homes, and equip them for future success.
OUR FUTURE
Our future plan is to continue advocating for orphans and pointing them to Christ. We have big goals and would like to build a 100% self sustaining community. In order to do this we will need to raise chickens, goats and pigs. We will also need to expand our gardens. Within the DHOA community we would like a school and a clinic that would be a resource for DHOA and the surrounding villages. With your generous donations we can make this a reality, step by step. Please consider partnering with us and join us in bringing hope!
